Judy Snider, raised in Michigan, lives in Virginia Beach, Virginia with her husband, Gil, sons Jon and Nick, and her cats Lucy and Bailey. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Judy had the joyful job of working at Cape Henry Collegiate School for eight years. She occassionly does school visits in her city as she loves reading her book to kids! Goldy's Baby Socks is Judy's first children's book that she has published. She likes books that are humorous and "speak to the heart." The real Goldy really did bring socks to the Sniders every night.

Judy got her B.S. from Western Michigan University and her master's in social work from Tulane University in New Orleans.

Judy's husband is a writer also. Gil Snider is the author of Brain Warp, a medical/political thriller.

Judy also is one of the authors of a women's book, The Sacred Purse.

Judy is busy working on the "Just One Can" Program to raise food for the Foodbank.
